Depending upon the ferry, it takes 55 or 90 minutes to cross. Leave Sea Cliff Gardens at 7 a.m., (with a to-go breakfast and your passport in-hand), catch the early ferry to Victoria, and then return on the evening ferry, around 6:45 p.m. in the summer, or 4:00 p.m. during the rest of the year.
