VICTORIA
The beautiful town of Victoria, British Columbia is just across the Straits of Juan de Fuca from our Bed & Breakfast. Take a Day Trip to Victoria from Sea Cliff Gardens to experience another amazing slice of the Pacific Northwest. Attractions like Butchart Gardens, Victoria Butterfly Gardens, and the Royal B.C. Museum are great reasons to spend some time on the southern coast of Vancouver Island.

TAKE A FERRY RIDE
Heading across the water by Ferry offers a unique way to travel and authentic way to experience these beautiful port towns. A Ferry ride is also the easiest and most affordable way to get across the straits of Juan de Fuca. The MV Coho is the main choice for our guests at Sea Cliff Gardens. It departs daily from Port Angeles, about a 20 minute drive. It leaves after 8am most of the year and arrives back in Port Angeles later that afternoon or evening.

SEATTLE FERRY -
TACOMA NARROWS BRIDGE
Ferries to and from Seattle aren't necessarily day trip distance from our B&B like Victoria is, but they are another option to driving around the Tacoma Narrows bridge. If timed correctly, the ferry and the drive around Tacoma are approximately 2 hours from Seatac airport. During peak tourist season and long weekends there can be long ferry lines and the travel time from Seatac can actually end up being more like 2.5-3+ hrs. The ferry to/from Seattle is an alternative to allow someone else (the ferry captain) to do the driving for about 1 hour of the trip.

The ferry system also serves places like the San Juan Islands and the Coupeville / Port Townsend route is how you would get to the Olympic Peninsula from the San Juan Islands and requires an advance reservation. Other routes from Seattle are on a first come first serve basis.
