Most of the peninsula's land area, including the Olympic Mountains, lies within the boundaries of the Olympic National Park. The park encompases truly wild land, parts of which are believed to still be unexplored. All this is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the west, the Straight of Juan de Fuca to the north, and Puget Sound to the east.
From rain forests, waterfalls and hot springs to mountains, untamed beaches and ocean, there is a seemingly endless kaleidoscope of resplendent nature, and whether you are hiking, biking, beach combing or just standing in awe of its beauty, your time here will be too short. But you will never forget the Olympic Peninsula and the welcoming hospitality of its people.
