These are the best wildlife photos anyone has ever taken at Sea Cliff Gardens Bed & Breakfast! (You can click on the images to see them bigger–then just click your back-browser button to return to this blog.)
These great shots came to us from one of our favorite returning guests, David Nadalin.
This juvenile bald eagle flew right past David and Carol while they were standing on the edge of the cliff. He must be close to reaching adulthood, because his head feathers are starting to turn white. I’m talking about the eagle here, not David. 😉 The bald eagles’ striking white head against a background of black feathers show up when they are four years old. Until then, they wear a mottled camouflage look.
These twin fawns were wobbly newborns when David and Carol spotted them in our neighbor’s yard from the window of their room at Sea Cliff Gardens.
The image of the adult bald eagle was captured by David at Dungeness Spit, which is a few miles down the coastline from us.
